National Simultaneous Storytime

National Simultaneous Storytime is a Literacy Initiative run is Australia to support and engage students to read books! Throughout Australia every Primary Class read a book called The Brother Quibble by Aaron Blabley. The book is about a boy called Spalding Quibble, who always ruled the roost. Until one day he got a brand new little baby brother called Bunny. Spalding didn't like Bunny so he raged a wore and drove his parents crazy. At the end of the story, Spalding and Bunny became best of friends.

The book that was selected for National Simultaneous Storytime.

Yesterday, as part of our Big Write Session, we had to make Spalding Quibbles crown and then write a procedure about how we did it. We learnt that a procedure explains the steps and materials we need to take to complete an activity. Procedures must have verbs (doing words) and be clearly explained.

Have a look at some of our amazing crowns we made.
